Is It Just Normal Aging, or Abnormal Aging?

As we age, things happen. Some of them hurt, some are just "inconvenient".

Some should be followed up on, some are "normal" and just be dealt with.

Which is which?

Well, sometimes that is a difficult question, but, since it has to do with possible debilitation or even death, if we are not sure, let's check it out with an expert, okay?

But, how about the rest of the stuff?

Well, "sudden", especially with no obvious explanation, is a good one to get checked.

"Extreme" is another clue. A sudden pain may just be a pulled muscle, but an extreme pain may have something to do with damage.

If it's "unique", that might be a hint. For example, if one knee starts hurting and the other doesn't...

Well as one article I read put it, if both knees are the same age and get the same use, what's causing one to hurt?
